Success Stories

Milo

The Problem
Milo was a 7-month-old Spaniel who pulled his poor owner around on the lead and had zero focus - quite the crazy teenager!

The Approach
We began by working on Milo’s attention span through a series of calming games which taught self-control and helped with his focus. We then tackled his pulling by working with Milo and his owner to instil lead training, rewarding him at each step, and gradually reducing the treats to increase distance on a loose lead.
We then added distractions such as practicing walking past other dogs without pulling.

The Result
After just 4 sessions and the hard and consistent work by his owner, Milo is now a happy, calm dog who, after just 3 sessions, had such a notable change that even Milo’s vet noticed how calm he had become!

Dotti

The Problem
Dotti was a 10-week-old Spaniel puppy who needed to learn the fundamentals to become a well-behaved little dog.

The Approach
We started by teaching Dotti and her owner basic recall, loose lead walking and general obedience to help the puppy become well-balanced and develop a positive relationship with her owner.

The Result
By week 6 Dotti had developed solid recall around distractions, even around other dogs!
